Press release

The Developmental Care Foundation for the Families of Martyrs and the Wounded, operating as an independent charitable organization, serves the families of martyrs and the wounded with its limited resources. This service includes monthly stipends for the families of martyrs, sponsorship of orphans, provision of medicine and medical supplies for the wounded, provision of wheelchairs and crutches, financial assistance for surgeries and medical diagnostic equipment, settlement of martyrs’ debts, distribution of food baskets to the families of martyrs and the wounded, and Eid clothing for the children of martyrs. We carry out these activities within the framework of the Foundation’s established goals, vision, and mission to provide care for the families of martyrs and the wounded to the best of our ability. We emphasize that we have not received any material or moral support from the government, the governorate, or resistance leaders. Despite all our efforts, we feel deep sorrow and pain at the neglect suffered by the most severely wounded, who have been left without assistance by the relevant government authorities. These wounded individuals have been suffering for a year and a half, and the government has taken no action to help those who sacrificed their lives for God, their country, and the legitimate government. We have highlighted the suffering of the wounded on most satellite channels, websites and social media, and we have held several events and protests, as well as issued documentary films to convey the message and suffering of the wounded to the relevant authorities. We have prepared the database and files of the wounded and handed them over to the medical committee to discuss them, evaluate the condition of the wounded and decide who needs to travel among them. The medical committee met with the wounded and announced the result and handed it over to the concerned authorities, but there has been no response so far. We addressed the President of the Republic, the Minister of Health, the Governor, and the Resistance Coordination Council, informing them of the situation of the wounded, their suffering, and the tragedy they are living through. We demanded that they be sent abroad for treatment, that they be cared for, and that they be provided with the necessary care. We urged them to do what their national and religious duty and responsibility dictates towards the wounded. Despite all this, we found no one who would take any action to alleviate the suffering of the wounded. We, at the Development Care Foundation for the Families of Martyrs and the Wounded, and out of our concern for our wounded brothers, announce that we are ready to cooperate with any entity that will send the wounded who are eligible to travel abroad by providing the database and files of the wounded and everything we can provide for the treatment and care of the wounded. It should be noted that the total amount spent by the Foundation on the wounded in various aspects amounted to (72,122,826) seventy-two million, one hundred and twenty-two thousand, eight hundred and twenty-six riyals, of which (11,850,000) eleven million, eight hundred and fifty thousand riyals were for the wounded who were scheduled to travel abroad, numbering (237) wounded. We ask God for success and guidance, mercy and forgiveness for the martyrs, healing for the wounded, and glory, honor, and dignity for the nation.
