To our esteemed brothers and members of the Riyadh Conference from Taiz Governorate: The Taiz Development Foundation for the Families of Martyrs and the Wounded extends its greetings to you, along with the salutations of its heroic wounded and the best wishes of the disabled and amputees. We pray for your success and guidance in all that benefits Yemen and the Yemeni people. Greetings we send from Taiz, the city of pride, resilience, and dignity, to you in the land of the Two Holy Mosques. To our brothers and members of the Riyadh Conference from the beloved city of Yemen (Taiz), we thank you for your efforts and unwavering national stances, which reflect your character and that of the city in whose streets you grew up, whose milk you drank, and whose culture you absorbed. We express our deepest appreciation and gratitude. If we have any hope for you, it is that you will play a role in visiting and persuading the legitimate government to look at the wounded of Taiz with the care of those whom God has entrusted with their affairs. The government is thanked for its great responsibilities and challenges, which we are not unaware of, but treating the wounded is a priority that no other priority can take precedence over. Who will care for the wounded if their government abandons them? And in accordance with the saying, “God only gives you victory through your weak ones,” these wounded have given their lives to preserve this homeland and its legitimacy. They gave their lives while others gave their interests. Is this their reward? This is our hope from you, we at the Foundation. As for the wounded, they have placed their hope in God, after pain has exhausted them, their bodies have been worn down by suffering, and their hair has turned gray from waiting. Will we see you take action with our wise government for the sake of your sons and brothers, the wounded of Taiz? Our hope in you, after God, is great… God, God, have mercy on the wounded… This is our hope… and we await your sincere efforts.
